church council would not accept a woman as the incumbent or priest-in-charge of
the benefice or as a team vicar for the benefice.”
Resolution C (Petition
under Act of Synod) London
“That the Parochial
Church Council of xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
hereby resolves to petition the Bishop of London to the effect that appropriate
episcopal duties in the parish of
yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
should be carried out by the Bishop of Fulham in accordance with the Episcopal
Ministry Act of Synod 1993 and the
London Plan.”
Resolution C (Petition
under Act of Synod) Elsewhere
“That the Parochial

hereby resolves to petition the Lord Bishop of

to the effect that appropriate episcopal duties in the parish of

absolutely certain that these motions are presented at a PCC meeting which has
fulfilled the legal requirements, e.g. one month’s written notice of the motions
to be debated. Notices of
