Forward in Faith have produced a wide-ranging Report on the ordination of women as bishops.  Published by Canterbury Press & Forward in Faith under the title Consecrated Women?, it not only examines all the theological issues involved, but also all the legal consequences of ordaining women as bishops.  It will also offer to the Church of England an equitable solution to all the problems which will inevitably arise when women are ordained as bishops. 

Among those present at the Launch, which took place in London on Friday, 8^th October was the book’s Editor, Fr Jonathan Baker, some of the contributors, including Bishop John Broadhurst and Fr Geoffrey Kirk, and members of the Working Party which has been debating this subject for Forward in Faith over the past two and a half years, including the noted Roman Catholic scholar and author Fr Aidan Nichols OP and Dr Brian Hanson, sometime Registrar and Legal Adviser to the General Synod of the Church of England.
